PPR Requests & Out of Hours Indemnity

All our airports operated a strictly PPR policy.

Prior Permission is required before every arrival. PPR requests are only accepted during normal opening hours as published in the AIP. Non-commercial aircraft wishing to operate outside of operational hours will require an valid indemnity permit or holiday voucher.

⏱ Out of Hours Indemnity

Pilots visiting outside operational hours must be in possession of a valid Argyll and Bute Council ‘Out of Hours Indemnity Permit’ or ‘Holiday Voucher.’

Key rules

PPR must be requested and confirmed before any planned arrival. Always submit with a definite Date and ETA.

Departures are not permitted within 15 minutes of notified airport closing time.

PPR for Coll and Colonsay airports is only permitted outside scheduled air service times. All aircraft must have a valid out of hours indemnity permit.

Emails are not continuously monitored. Call the airport by phone if your flight is within the next hour.
