Due to the ongoing pandemic and tightening of Scottish lockdown rules from the 26th December, Oban Airports will only be accepting PPR for essential travel. This will be reviewed on or before the 18th January 2021 to fall in-line with any new government guidance.
More guidance on flying restrictions during lockdown can be found at https://www.caa.co.uk/Our-work/Newsroom/COVID-19-guidance-for-commercial-and-recreational-aviation/
Maintenance flights will be considered during this period. Pilots must submit a request for maintenance flights to obanairport@argyll-bute.gov.uk setting out the details of how the flight matches the requirements set out by the CAA. This information is required for the airport to record the all flights and provide to the CAA on request.
