Pilots planning to visit or contact either Coll or Colonsay Airports please note that from 1st Aug 2018 their VHF frequencies are changing to ensure 8.33khz compliance. Argyll and Bute Council Employee Excellence and Recognition Awards

Oban Airport Fire and Rescue Service were surprised and elated to have been nominated in the recent Argyll and Bute Council Employee Excellence and Recognition Awards. At the ceremony we were delighted to collect the gold award for ‘Team of the Year’ in a well contested category. Colonsay Aerodrome Runway Headings

Visiting pilots please note that the Runway designators at Colonsay Aerodrome have been changed to reflect the shift due to magnetic variation. Runway 11 is now designated Runway 10 and Runway 29 is now designated Runway 28. A permanent NOTAM has been issued to reflect until the AIP and chart are fully updated. For any further information
