Oban Airport Fire and Rescue Service were surprised and elated to have been nominated in the recent Argyll and Bute Council Employee Excellence and Recognition Awards. At the ceremony we were delighted to collect the gold award for ‘Team of the Year’ in a well contested category. The Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) have advised that they are running a number of student field practicals in Ardmucknish Bay, adjacent to Oban Airport, on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th September 2017.
